Hungary: Russian oil deliveries resumed via Druzhba

Russian oil deliveries to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline resumed today, the Hungarian Ministry of Technology and Industry said in a statement reported by Interfax.

“Thanks to Hungary’s intervention, which took charge of the transit fee, it was possible to eliminate technical accounting problems in a short time to resume deliveries. Thus deliveries began yesterday and, since the night hours, oil has been flowing uninterruptedly from Russia through Ukraine back to Hungary via the pipeline. Despite the interruption of supplies, Hungarian consumers had no problems, as the country has sufficient reserves for several weeks.”
