Eppure la teoria dell’evoluzione progressiva verso la perfezione è una fonte di sofferenza e di disillusione infinite quanto la stessa evoluzione. Secondo le più antiche tradizioni, l’evoluzione gira in tondo e il tempo si morde la coda descrivendo dei cerchi infiniti, finché decidiamo di uscirne. Bisogna uscire dal cerchio del tempo: è lo scopo della vera religione, ossia l’immortalità.
Ma le potenze che vivono nel tempo ciclico non vogliono che vi sfuggiamo, perché ciò significherebbe la fine di questa messinscena.
Il messaggio originale del Buddha era un appello a distaccarsi dal sortilegio del circuito dell’evoluzione chiusa, ma i guardiani del sistema temporale hanno risposto diffondendo la dottrina dell’evoluzione progressiva.
Essi dicono: «Col tempo diventerete degli dèi su una terra perfetta. Non cercate un’altra via d’uscita».
Ora chiediamoci: da quanto tempo è nell’aria questa idea e da chi proviene? L’evoluzionismo è forse un concetto religioso tradizionale? Rientra negli insegnamenti dei grandi saggi del passato? Non si tratta forse di un’interpretazione contraria al suo significato originale?
Ognuno si ponga queste domande, io non intendo sostituire un dogma con un altro. Tuttavia osserviamo che l’evoluzionismo spirituale è un’idea moderna specifica, diffusa dai lamaisti e dagli adepti della Teosofia orientale per i quali è un’idea fissa, il dogma assoluto, la doxa suprema.
Voglio semplicemente mostrare che questa teoria ci è stata ispirata dalla Grande Loggia orientale, proprio quella che ha fondato l’organizzazione del lamaismo allo scopo di irradiare questa idea e tutte le illusioni che ne derivano. Mi spiego: se riescono a convincerci che un’idea può rispondere alla questione essenziale dell’esistenza, significa che possono condizionarci ad accettarne le applicazioni in tutti i settori della vita. Vorrei cercare di essere il più chiaro possibile…
La teoria evoluzionista si può applicare soltanto ai fenomeni naturali e solo in modo relativo, poiché tutto è ciclico e le cose ritornano sempre al punto di partenza. Per questo gli antichi Indù e le altre civiltà hanno suddiviso il tempo circolare in quattro cicli disuguali: l’Età d’Oro, l’Età d’Argento, l’Età del Bronzo e l’Età del Ferro. Dopo l’Età del Ferro ritorna l’Età d’Oro e così via…
Ciò concerne soltanto la storia del mondo, motivo per cui la tradizione universale dice che il germe dell’identità umana non è toccato da questi cicli. La nostra anima sarebbe quindi posta in queste condizioni di cambiamenti senza che ne cambi il carattere immutabile in quanto particella divina.
Con qualche variante, è il fondamento della filosofia eterna, la philosophia perennis. Studiando i miti sacri delle rivelazioni religiose originali, constatiamo che dicono tutti la stessa cosa. Ma non appena queste religioni si instaurano nel tempo, rovesciano il loro messaggio iniziale a fini temporali.
Con il tempo, bisogna durare e la sopravvivenza temporale soppianta la ricerca dell’eternità. Durante il ciclo attuale, la cosiddetta «Età Nera», è scritto che la verità è perduta, soppiantata da illusioni così lusinghiere che noi esseri umani le adottiamo come se fossero la «verità».
Per l’uomo civilizzato, non c’è niente di più gradevole che sentirsi dire che è un dio in evoluzione, che si sta via via avvicinando alla perfezione. Tale perfezione può essere vista come un fine individuale o sociale e, in questo caso, la scienza compierà la salvezza redentrice. Il dogma dell’evoluzione vince su tutti i piani, sia su quello scientifico che su quello spirituale. Il progresso diventa una religione che porta nuove speranze costantemente rinnovate.
In questa «Nuova Era» dell’Età Nera, la spiritualità è vissuta come una successione di miglioramenti psichici con la promessa ultima di raggiungere il Nirvana. La ricerca del sacro si cancella davanti allo sviluppo personale. Quindi appaiono necessariamente numerose illusioni, che trovano tutte le porte aperte. È il regno del «sempre di più e sempre meglio» con risultati incontestabili a certi livelli, ma senza aver risolto il problema fondamentale della vita e della morte.
È così che da alcuni secoli vi sono idee che hanno preso il potere. Un’idea non esce mai dal vuoto, è sempre il prodotto di un cervello pensante. Nel caso specifico la Loggia orientale pretende di aver portato l’idea di un progresso spirituale per il pianeta e i suoi abitanti. Questo progresso dovrebbe instaurare un regno divino sulla terra, sopprimendo tutti i mali, compresi la malattia e la morte. È la loro ideologia, ed è naturale che seduca i più. Ma, attenzione, è solo un’ideologia che vuole conseguire il Bene in opposizione al Male.
Questo idealismo è reattivo ed è possibile che non sia assolutamente in armonia con le leggi cosmiche. Se si tratta di un’illusione tipica dell’Età Nera, significa che coloro che la diffondono vi hanno un interesse vitale.
A giudicare dalle forze dispiegate per convincerci delle loro idee, questa propaganda deve senz’altro garantire loro un progresso.
Stanno mettendo a punto una civiltà completamente incentrata sulla speranza del progresso materiale e dell’evoluzione spirituale. Perché lo fanno? Perché questo sforzo? Perché questa enorme macchinazione per condizionare le masse unificandole intorno a illusioni lusinghiere come l’unità, la pace e la fratellanza umana?
Non si può sfuggire alla civiltà nemmeno se ci si rifugia in una grotta. Bisogna adeguarsi e stare attenti a non farsi prendere. Colui che si abbandona rischia di perdervi l’anima, convinto di migliorarsi. È questa l’Età Nera. Ma non vorrei drammatizzare oltre modo, perché credo nella forza dello Spirito e nella liberazione ultima.”
