We witness a growing environmental crisis with the intensification of extreme events happening around the globe: drought, flood, loss of biodiversity and environmental displacement. None of the “new tech solutions” or actions were capable to change this scenario or reduce the impact in a systemic way.
It is urgent to overcome our current massive lack of imagination of futures, that make room for oligarchs, tech bros and neoreactionaries. We have to understand the environment as a socio-environmental system and create new ways for the transition.
SAWTOOTH is an exercise of projecting possible alternatives to the world emerging after the collapse.
